How is licence training different from a tandem experience?
In a tandem experience the instructor performs the main operating tasks; a single tandem jump does not automatically award a skydiving licence.
Licence training is a structured programme intended to build the knowledge, skills and experience needed for independent skydiving. This selector currently uses USPA training and licence materials as its reference.
A licensed skydiver may ask a destination drop zone to participate as a licensed jumper, subject to that site’s current acceptance rules.
